La Brisa Sunday Market

La Brisa is the driftwood-and-fishing-boat beach club on Echo Beach in Canggu, built largely from recycled timber and salvaged boats by the LYD Group. On Sundays its grounds host one of the area’s most popular weekly markets, with stalls tucked between the palms, the pools and the ocean-facing bars.

The market leans towards sustainable, handmade and wellness products, and the setting – shaded, breezy and a few steps from the surf – makes it as much a social morning out as a shopping trip.

About the event

The Sunday Market runs every week from 10:00 to 16:00 with vendors covering food and drink, fashion, beauty and wellness. There is no entrance fee at La Brisa, and walk-ins are always welcome. The club itself is open daily 10:00–23:00, so you can stay for lunch or sunset afterwards.

Venue

La Brisa sits on Jalan Pantai Batu Mejan at Echo Beach, at the western end of Canggu’s main beach strip. Standard seating is first-come, first-served with no minimum spend; premium tables carry minimum spends from IDR 700,000++ to IDR 2,600,000++ and can be booked 30 days to one day ahead. Children are welcome and there is a shallow pool suited to kids, with parental supervision required.

• Come at 10:00 for a calmer browse, or late morning for the liveliest atmosphere.
• Bring cash and cards – payment options vary between stalls.
• Dogs on leads are allowed; drones are not, and professional shoots need written approval.
• Parking near Echo Beach fills quickly on Sundays; a scooter is easiest.

Make a day of it

Echo Beach is one of Canggu’s better surf spots for experienced riders, so a morning surf followed by the market is a classic local Sunday. Once you have browsed, grab a table under the palms for lunch, cool off in the pool, and stay for the sunset, when La Brisa’s recycled-boat bars and hanging lanterns come into their own. The market is also a good place to pick up gifts with a lower footprint – many vendors focus on handmade, natural or zero-waste goods. Sundays are the club’s busiest day, so if you want a premium table for the afternoon, book one online the day before (bookings close at 15:30). Smoking is permitted throughout the venue.
