About
Ride a 4WD jeep up Mount Batur in Kintamani, around 40 minutes to the viewpoint, to watch the sunrise, then taste hot drinks from a local coffee plantation. Breakfast is at Paperhills Cafe, where you get a percentage off your food and drink bill rather than a fixed meal.
The tour runs 8 to 12.5 hours and can add Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, a hot spring or an ATV ride. Round-trip hotel transfers or a meeting point are available by package. It can drop below 10°C before sunrise, and blankets can be rented. Guides speak English and Bahasa Indonesia.
