Batik Making Class in Ubud

This batik class takes place at WS Art Studio Balinese Handicrafts in Lodtunduh, just south of Ubud in Gianyar. A teacher introduces the tools, dyes and techniques of Balinese batik before you start your own piece.

You sketch and paint a traditional pattern or your own design on fabric using the batik method, and take the finished work home. The class lasts about 3 hours, is run as a group session, and is taught in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Guests meet at the studio.
