Mount Agung Sunrise Trekking in Bali
About
This overnight trek climbs Mount Agung, Bali’s highest mountain at 3,142 metres, to reach the top before sunrise. There are two routes, from Besakih Temple or from Pasar Agung Temple, and the Pasar Agung route does not reach the true summit.
The climb is steep and meant for experienced hikers. A guide, gloves, hiking poles, breakfast and round trip hotel transfers are included. For the Besakih route, pickup is the night before. The mountain may close at short notice for ceremonies. Guides speak English and Bahasa Indonesia.
