This private tour takes you by 4WD jeep across the volcanic landscape of Mount Batur in Kintamani to watch the sunset. The route passes black lava fields formed by past eruptions, and the driver also works as a photographer, taking pictures along the way. You can choose the colour of your jeep.
The experience lasts around 8 hours. Packages range from the jeep ride only to options with return hotel transfer, and some combine the trip with a natural hot spring, a cafe stop, an ATV ride or a jungle swing. Guides speak English, Bahasa Indonesia and Malay. The road can be dusty, so a mask is useful.
