Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Experience

This guided trek climbs Mount Batur in Kintamani, Bangli Regency, an active volcano standing 1,717 metres high, to watch the sunrise from the summit. Hotel pickup starts around 1.30am, and the walk up takes roughly 2 to 3 hours with a professional guide.

Breakfast is served at the top, with eggs, bread, banana, a cereal bar and coffee or tea, and the guides help with photos. The trip also stops at a coffee plantation before drop-off around 12.30pm. Total time is about 8 to 12 hours. Trekking shoes are required, and a jacket and long pants are recommended.
