Surfing Lesson in Canggu Bali by Matahari Surf School

Matahari Surf School runs 2 hour surf lessons on the beach in Canggu, North Kuta. Each session opens with a short beach briefing on safety, technique and equipment before you head into the water with your instructor to practise paddling, standing up and riding waves.

Boards and equipment are provided, so there is no need to bring your own. Lessons can be taken in a group, semi private or private format, and instructors speak English, Bahasa Indonesia and Czech. The school has showers and a beanbag area on the beach.
